In a VRV (variable refrigerant volume) system one outdoor unit serves several indoor units connected by copper refrigerant piping. With a depth of only 320 mm, the RXYSQ-TY9 fits easily into narrow façade recesses and against walls.

How to choose

Load: select the indoor units on the cooling and heating loads of the rooms and size the outdoor unit to cover the total (4 HP: 12.1 kW, 5 HP: 14.0 kW, 6 HP: 15.5 kW cooling).
Number of indoor units: up to 8 on 4 HP, 10 on 5 HP and 13 on 6 HP.
Power supply: a three-phase supply is required; if only single-phase is available, look at the RXYSCQ-TV1.
As a heat pump system it needs no BS box; branches are made with refnet joints.
