Daikin VRV cassette indoor units FXZQ, FXFQ, FXCQ, FXKQ
Daikin VRV cassettes are built into the suspended ceiling and supply air through a ceiling panel; there are four types: fully flat, round flow (360°), 2-way and 1-way blow. The list contains 29 models from 1.7 to 14.0 kW nominal cooling.

How to choose
- Flush with the ceiling: FXZQ, whose panel sits flat with the ceiling surface (class 15–50, 1.7–5.6 kW).
- Square and large rooms: FXFQ distributes air through 360°; with classes 20–125 it also suits large areas such as meeting rooms and open-plan offices.
- Rectangular and narrow rooms: FXCQ blows in two directions; for corridors and long, narrow rooms use the 1-way FXKQ.
- Panel: decoration panels for cassettes are listed under their own codes; add the matching panel for each indoor unit as a separate line.
How to write it in a quote
Write the indoor unit with type, class and capacity: “Daikin VRV FXFQ50 round flow cassette indoor unit, class 50, 5.6 kW nominal cooling”. Put the decoration panel and the wired remote controller right below it as separate lines, so the customer can see clearly that the panel is in scope.

Is the panel included with a cassette indoor unit?
In the list the decoration panels have their own codes (BYFQ60CW, BYCQ140E, BYK32G, BYK63G, BYBCQ40H, BYBCQ63H, BYBCQ125H), so indoor unit and panel are separate quote lines. Check in the Daikin documentation which panel fits which unit.
What is the difference between FXZQ and FXFQ?
FXZQ is the fully flat cassette in classes 15–50 (1.7–5.6 kW). FXFQ distributes air in a 360° round pattern and covers classes 20–125 (2.2–14.0 kW).
What does capacity class mean?
It is the number in the model code, for example 32 in FXCQ32A. The list gives 3.6 kW nominal cooling for class 32 and 7.1 kW for class 63.
Which cassette suits a long, narrow room?
The 2-way FXCQ or the 1-way FXKQ. FXKQ is designed in particular for corridors and narrow rooms.
