How to choose

No suspended ceiling: a wall-mounted unit needs no ceiling void or ductwork and is also used in refurbishments.
Capacity: choose the class by room load; class 15 is given as 1.7 kW and class 63 as 7.1 kW nominal cooling.
Mixed systems: cassette or ducted indoor units can be connected to the same VRV outdoor unit together with wall-mounted units.
Controller: plan a wired remote controller (e.g. BRC1H52W Madoka) for each indoor unit or group as a separate line.

How to write it in a quote

Write the line with class and capacity: “Daikin VRV FXAQ25A wall-mounted indoor unit, class 25, 2.8 kW nominal cooling”. Show the controller, condensate drain and copper piping work on separate lines.

Which FXAQ model suits which room?

Selection follows the room's cooling load. The list gives 2.2 kW for class 20, 3.6 kW for class 32 and 5.6 kW for class 50 nominal cooling; choose the nearest class that covers the calculated load.

Which are the smallest and largest models?

The smallest model is FXAQ15A (1.7 kW) and the largest is FXAQ63A (7.1 kW nominal cooling).

Is the controller included with the indoor unit?

Controllers have their own codes in the list (e.g. BRC1D52, BRC1H52K, BRC1H52W). In the quote, indoor unit and controller are separate lines.
