Caleffi 559 SEPCOLL hydraulic separator manifold

SEPCOLL combines a hydraulic separator (low loss header) and a distribution manifold in a single steel body. It decouples the boiler or heat pump side from the heating and cooling circuits and comes in four models for 2, 3 and 4 circuits.

How to choose

Number of circuits: every independent line, such as radiators, underfloor heating or a DHW cylinder, needs its own secondary outlet.
Flow rate: the total secondary flow must stay below the recommended limit of the model (5 or 6 m³/h); on the primary side the limit is 2 or 2.5 m³/h.
Primary connection: with a 1" boiler or heat pump line, models 2 and 2+1 connect directly; with 1 1/4", models 2+2 and 3+1.
Spare outlet: if circuits will be added later, choose the larger model and close the free outlet with the 559001 plugs.

What does a hydraulic separator manifold do?

It hydraulically separates the primary circuit with the boiler or heat pump from the secondary heating and cooling circuits, so the pumps do not disturb each other's flow. Because the same body also works as a distribution manifold, no separate low loss header and manifold are needed.

Which SEPCOLL model should I choose?

Start with the number of secondary circuits: SEPCOLL 2 for 2 circuits, 2+1 for 3, and 2+2 or 3+1 for 4. Then check the total flow: the recommended limits are 2 m³/h primary and 5 m³/h secondary for models 2 and 2+1, and 2.5 m³/h primary and 6 m³/h secondary for 2+2 and 3+1.

Yes. The series is designed for heating and cooling systems and is supplied insulated. The temperature range is 0–110 °C.
