Daikin VRV controllers: Madoka, central control, BMS interfaces

How to choose
- Room control: plan one wired remote controller for each indoor unit or group the user will operate from the room. Madoka comes in black and white with weekly timer and setpoint limits; BRC1D52 offers a weekly timer and home leave.
- Building-wide: if many indoor units are to be managed from one point, add a centralised controller; DCS302C51 handles 64 groups and up to 128 indoor units.
- Building automation: choose DMS502A51 if the BMS uses BACnet and DMS504B51 if it uses LonWorks.
- Hotels: the hotel PMS interface DCM010A51 is used to control air conditioning by room status.
How to write it in a quote
Write the controller with colour and quantity: “Daikin BRC1H52W Madoka wired remote controller, white, 12 pcs”. Put the centralised controller and interface on separate lines; for the interface, state the protocol (BACnet or LonWorks) and the number of indoor units to be controlled.

What is the difference between BRC1H52K and BRC1H52W?
Both are Madoka wired remote controllers; the list gives BRC1H52K as black and BRC1H52W as white. The list gives 85 × 85 mm for BRC1H52K; the functions (weekly timer, home leave, setpoint limits) are described the same way for both.
BACnet or LonWorks?
It depends on the protocol of the building management system: DMS502A51 for BACnet, DMS504B51 for LonWorks. Both control up to 64 indoor units or groups.
How many indoor units can a centralised controller manage?
